Women's March on Washington
Date and Time: Saturday, January 21st, 2017. We will meet between 9:15am-10:00am and move to join the Women's March on Washington, which begins at 10:00am.
Location: Northeast corner of Spirit of Justice Park, C Street SE and New Jersey Avenue SE. Look for the red NWL banner and black and white strike signs.
Event Details: Backpacks may be searched and nontransparent backpacks may be confiscated. We recommend bringing a small purse or a transparent backpack.
Anything that could be used as a weapon is not allowed. If you are making signs, remember that sharp sticks to hold up a sign are included in this. Use foam-board signs, and you could use a soft neck strap instead.
Women's March on NYC
Date and Time: Saturday, January 21st, 2017. We will meet at 11:30am and start marching at 11:55am.
Location: East 49th St. and 3rd Ave., southeast corner, in front of Lenscrafters. Look out for Women Strike signs.
Gainsville #WomenStrike Picket
Date and Time: Saturday, January 21st, 2017. 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
Location: On the sidewalk in front of Hobby Lobby at 6111 W Newberry Road, Suite B, Gainesville, Florida 32605
Event Details: Join National Women's Liberation and Gainesville Area NOW on Saturday January 21 at 1pm for a PICKET in front of Hobby Lobby as part of the #womenstrike called for by National Women's Liberation (NWL) and in solidarity with the Women's March in DC. Hobby Lobby represents the kind of anti-woman attacks we will be facing with new force as the incoming administration takes office.
Women's March on Tallahassee
